Facts on IBM SoftwareTraditional J2EE applications work well for a large class of applications. The class can broadly be categorized as applications that run in a stateless symmetric cluster in front of a database: All the cluster members can perform any task at any time. The application is stateless. The application is modal which means it only performs work synchronously in response to a client request which can be received using HTTP/IIOP or JMS. Lotus Software (called Lotus Development Corporation before its acquisition by IBM) is an American software company with its headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Lotus was founded in 1982 by partners Mitch Kapor and Jonathan Sachs. Lotus' first product was presentation software for the Apple II known as Lotus Executive Briefing System, but the company is more broadly known for its groundbreaking Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet application released in January 1983. Rose, a software modeling program, arose from a few engineers formerly at GE in Waukesha, Wisconsin. After Rational acquired the product, it moved much of the development to California. This site is growing and will contain info on subjects like help desk domino lotus, websphere application server network deployment and uml tutorial. | ||||
